According to the Implementation Plan on Accelerating the Integrated Utilization of Industrial Resources jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Science and Technology, China will continue to improve the recycling system of waste power battery, promote the safe cascade utilization of waste power batteries in the fields of power preparation, charging and battery change. A number of cascade and recycling demonstration projects will be built in key areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, Yangtze River Delta and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and a group of key enterprises in cascade and recycling of waste batteries will be cultivated, and efforts in R&D and promotion of technologies such as nondestructive testing of power batteries, automatic disassembly and efficient extraction of valuable metals will also be intensified.
